Travel Iowa strengthens focus on UK with Cellet partnership
Travel Iowa has inked a new partnership with Cellet Marketing & PR Ltd to elevate the state’s profile in the UK market.
Iowa plans to attract more UK visitors by highlighting its attractions, outdoor adventures, and culture.
Cellet PR and Marketing has over 35 years of expertise in travel trade communications, and will lead the UK campaign.
It will combine trade marketing, consumer advertising, and PR to ensure Iowa’s travel offerings reach travel agents and tour operators.
Iowa has a diverse travel portfolio for UK audiences.
It offers scenic byways, cycling trails, and the Mississippi River’s natural beauty, while culture seekers can enjoy the Great River Road National Scenic Byway, historic landmarks, museums, and seasonal festivals.
Golf tourism is also growing, with top-tier courses and there is a vibrant farm-to-table dining and craft beverage scene.
By presenting at trade shows, and rolling out PR campaigns, co-op advertising, and fam trips, Travel Iowa is providing UK operators with tools and incentives to promote the state.
International tourism contributes billions to Iowa’s economy annually, and this UK-focused strategy aims to build awareness and attract more travellers.
“We are thrilled to work with Cellet to showcase Iowa’s unique offerings. From outdoor adventures to cultural treasures, UK travellers will discover something truly special here,” said Amy Zeigler, State Tourism Manager.
