Travel Oz goes to air
Australia’s newest TV travel program Travel Oz is on air with the first two episodes of Travel Oz dispatched to networks around the world, including the Travel Channel (Europe) and the ABC’s Australia Network (Asia/Pacific).
The programmes can also be viewed on: www.traveloztv.com.
Negotiations are also underway between the programme’s producers, GraingerTV, and another 80 international broadcasters, including Australia’s major terrestrial networks, to play Travel Oz in prime time.
GraingerTV CEO Greg Grainger says the programme is being translated into 15 languages for replay in countries all over Europe, adding, “We’re delighted with the calibre of stories we’ve recorded for these first two episodes.” “An up-close swim with two juvenile whale sharks off Christmas Island was a real bonus.”
“And what brilliant footage we secured at Norfolk Island’s annual Bounty Day celebrations.”
Travel Oz is presented by Greg Grainger, but also features two hot new talents… the two Tims, Tim Charody and Tim Doyle, both 22 years old, taking viewers to Arnhem Land for an aboriginal music festival and a looking at ancient customs such as didgeridoo making.
Production is well underway for programmes 3 and 4, with segments including a mass migration of manta rays to Lady Elliot Island, the snow fields of Falls Creek, rail trips around Queensland, the Vibe Hotels and the Sydney Tower restaurants.
Travel operators interested in being featured in future programmes should email Greg at [email protected].
