There were few drastic moves for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets enjoyed mixed fortunes. The FTSE 100 dropped 18.6 points to close at 4442.9, while the FTSE 250 managed to gain 30.7 points to end the day at 6275.6. British Airways gained 5p for the second day running to close at 326.5p, while First Choice had a splendid day, adding 6.25p to end the session at 140p.
