Travel industry shares suffered sharp falls yesterday as London’s equity markets dropped back sharply. The FTSE 100 index dropped 1.3 per cent, losing 58.1 points to close at 4338.9, while the FTSE 250 lost 1.5 per cent, closing 87.3 points down at 5692.1.
