TRAVEL STOCKWATCH – Lastminute.com shares drop

The share price for online booking agent Lastminute.com tumbled yesterday ahead of its results, due out next week.

Investors appeared to fear a repeat of rival Ebookers’ profits warning on Wednesday. Lastminute.com’s price dropped 6p to 140p.

The FTSE 100 had a good day, finishing up 62.5 points at 4418.7. The FTSE 250 index also did well up 62.5, closing on 6014.9, up 51.9 points.
