TRAVEL STOCKWATCH – online travel firms plunge
Shares hit an eight-month low yesterday due to fears about interest rate rises in the US.
Among the big losers were online travel firms with lastminute.com dropping 9.5p to 154.5p and rivals ebookers sliding 9p to 227p.
The FTSE 100 closed 71 points down at 4306.3 and the FTSE 250 was down 76.2 points at 5998.2
