Travel warnings growing worldwide

The anti government unrest which began in May has culminated in a state of emergency being declared in Bangkok.
An increasing number of countries are issuing warnings against travelling into Thailand including Australia, New Zealand and China.
The political unrest is naturally impacting tourism, with the start of the high season for the Thai tourism industry. Operators are obviously not very happy with violent demonstrations undermining international confidence.
Transport nationally and internationally has been severely disrupted, with Hat Yai International airport remains shut down.
