Travellers can now book online with Total Travel
Total Travel, one of Australia’s leading travel websites, today announced that it is has teamed with leading tourism technology provider V3 to launch an online booking system.
Using the world leading technology of the V3Travel System, accommodation, tours, events and attractions product listed on TotalTravel.com.au are set to have a ‘Book Now’ button included on their listing.
“This is an exciting new development for TotalTravel.com. It means more of the travel deals featured on our Australian site will be bookable online, direct with the travel operator,” said Paul Fisher of TotalTravel.com.
“Our partnership with V3 will mean people using our site will not only be able to search for available accommodation and tours, but will be able to book and pay online directly with these operators at the click of a button.
“Small to medium operators on TotalTravel.com wanting to reach a large travel audience with maximum conversion opportunities, at a minimal cost, can now do so alongside the big guys. We’re delivering that through our integration to the V3Travel System,” said Mr Fisher.
V3 Managing Director, Shane Crockett said: “V3 is excited to align our state-of-the-art technology with the Total Travel brand. The V3Travel System being used by Total Travel links small to medium tourism companies directly to multiple distributors like the big travel websites.”
“The distributor wins, because they have a bigger offering for consumers; the consumer wins, because they want to be able to book and pay online. The patented V3Travel System technology has live price and availability information, making this real-time booking possible. Tourism providers win because they are able to reach more people and compete with the bigger industry players,” said Mr Crockett.
“Our relationship with Total Travel opens new doors for the smaller providers in Australia’s tourism market, giving people the ability to book with them online at Total Travel’s website. These small tourism businesses have the customers funds deposited directly from the customer into their bank account, with no fuss.
“Better still, people booking online get access to a wider range of tours and beds because we give them direct access to the smaller operators in the market,” said Mr Crockett.
