TravelMole team sweeps prizes

The Tourism Society’s annual golf day proved to be a triumph for the TravelMole Team.

Going out second, the team played superbly in difficult windy conditions on a testing Allerthorpe Golf Club in the East Riding of Yorkshire. With the best two scores counting in a Stableford system the team amassed 88 points – the equivalent of 16 under par.

Not surprisingly the team also included the winning individual which was TravelMole’s Graham McKenzie. Playing off a handicap of 9, he accumulated 41 points and was awarded the first prize by Steve Price representing the Tourism Society’s Yorkshire Group.
