Travelodge announces hundreds of new jobs
Travelodge has announced it is looking to fill 550 jobs across the country in the run up to Christmas.
A hundred jobs will be in new hotels in Hackney, Richmond and Greenwich in London and in Oxford.
Positions include hotel managers, receptions, cleaners and bar staff.
The hotel chain, which operates 504 properties across UK, has a further 450 vacancies across the country, including 45 roles at the company’s head office in Thame.
Chief operating officer Jon Hendry Pickup said: "Joining our team opens the door to training and career progression. At Travelodge, we have a real track record of developing our team members – hundreds of people who have joined the company in an entry level job or apprenticeship position are now in management roles."
