Travelodge signs up with Amadeus
Travelodge is targeting the business market by signing up with Amadeus.
The budget hotel chain, which recently announced opening 41 new hotels this year with an investment of £246 million, will now be available through Amadeus’ Hotels Plus booking tool.
With 80% of its hotels in major city centres and popular holiday destinations, the operator wants to find additional ways to reach the budget conscious traveller worldwide.
Travelodge sales director Andy Besent said: "Our exciting expansion plans mean it makes perfect sense to work with a forward-thinking company like Amadeus with their focus on growing the choice of content available and their extensive local and global reach within the travel agency community."
