Travelodge is recruiting for 150 new jobs as it opens five new hotels between now and Christmas.

110 jobs are for the new hotels in Manchester, Southport, Crawley, London Walthamstow and Chertsey – and include receptionists, housekeepers, guest room cleaner and bar café roles.

The hotel chain is also looking for 20 new hotel managers and assistant managers in existing hotels as well as 20 new recruits for its head office in Oxfordshire covering IT, customer services, finance and PR.

As part of their induction, new staff members undertake a comprehensive four week training programme at a nearby Travelodge hotel and attend a sleep seminar so they are equipped to ensure their customers get a good night’s sleep.
