Travelonly.co.uk Website Short-listed for Travolution 2008 Award
The Travelonly.co.uk website has been short-listed for the Best New Online Travel Website category at the 2008 Travolution Awards.
About Travelonly.co.uk
Travelonly.co.uk was created by CSI Media’s marketing division as a means of offering their clients a unique marketing channel. The Travelonly.co.uk website offers extensive destination guides, which include information on climate, currency, events and attractions. The website also has a Dealbeater tool, in which users can enter their holiday requirements along with the cheapest quote they have received. Travelonly.co.uk will then utilise a network of UK travel companies to find the best holiday deal and send it back to the user.
The Travelonly.co.uk website also has a useful Inspirational Tool, which allows users to choose from a selection of options with regards to their holiday preferences. The Inspirational tool then shows a variety of holiday destinations which match the requirements of the holiday maker. Resorts are given a rating on how closely they match the user’s preferences. Users can also create their own reviews, which help to increase user generated content, which in turn improves the Travelonly.co.uk website’s SEO.
A blog page is also incorporated into Travelonly.co.uk and is updated daily. The blogs provide travel ideas, advice and current events, in a range of destinations. All blogs link to the destination guides featured on the Travelonly.co.uk website, and other related websites which may be of interest to the reader.
About the Travolution Awards
The Travolution Awards are designed to celebrate and reward excellence for online travel. Entries for the awards were welcome from across the industry, including online travel agencies, tour operators and travel technology companies.
The Best New Online Travel Website award will be presented to a new site which has excelled in online travel during 2007. Travelonly.co.uk’s nomination for this award highlights the website as one of the best in its class. The website, along with the others short-listed for this category, will now be scrutinised by a panel of judges from across the travel industry.
CSI Media plan to add a number of new features to Travelonly.co.uk in 2008 to help add further unique content, offer new marketing streams for their clients and most importantly offer an enhanced user experience.
Advertising opportunities on Travelonly.co.uk are available, including banner and sky scraper ads which can be used by travel agents and tour operators alike. The website is also currently being developed to integrate with CSI Media’s travel technology platforms such as Travelberry and Travelmodule to allow clients using this technology to add offers onto individual destination pages with very rich content.
