Trevor Harding takes non-exec role at C&M Recruitment
C&M Travel Recruitment has appointed industry veteran Trevor Harding as non-executive director, starting November 1.
Harding, president of the Institute for Travel and Tourism and former publisher and managing director of Travel Weekly, will work on a part-time consultancy basis for the travel recruitment company.
He will represent C&M at key industry events, including next month’s ABTA Travel Convention.
“Trevor is hugely respected, extremely well connected and widely liked,” said C&M managing director Angus Chisholm.
“After nearly 30 years in the travel industry, he knows anyone who is anyone and will be a superb ambassador for us.
“It is said that nobody ‘works a room’ better than Trevor, and in the people-focused recruitment business, this will be a huge asset to C&M. We are honored to have him on board.”
Harding added: “I am delighted to be working with Angus and his team. During my publishing career, I have worked closely with many recruitment companies and am excited about becoming involved in this dynamic sector of the industry.
“I look forward to meeting with all my industry friends and colleagues in this new role at the ABTA Travel Convention.”
Harding has served as chairman of Pacific Asia Travel Association UK and President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Industry Group.
He has also raised money for the ABTA Benevolent Fund, the Family Holiday Association and Just A Drop.
