Trip.com launches new rewards programme
Trip.com has unveiled a new customer rewards programme called TripPLUS.
It features loyalty currency in the form of ‘Trip Coins’ which are accrued when flights and hotel are booked, or when customers post a review on the Trip.com platforms.
Trip Coins can be used to gain exclusive discounts on future bookings.
Members can earn 25 Trip Coins for every US$100 spent on flights, 80 for every US$100 spent on hotel bookings, and as many as 120 Trip Coins for writing a hotel review.
"With the launch of the TripPLUS rewards program, we are significantly upgrading benefits offered to our loyal customers. We want our customers to feel that they are making the right choice for their online travel needs," said Lynn Qu, Trip.com VP of Product & Marketing
TripPLUS works in tandem with Trip.com’s three-tier membership system, which comprises Silver, Gold and Platinum levels.
All members get access to exclusive hotel deals, while Gold and Platinum members earm 10% and 30% more Coins respectively for each booking.
