Trip.com teams up with Rentals United
China’s dominant OTA Trip.com has sealed a strategic partnership with vacation rentals channel manager service Rentals United.
Barcelona based Rentals United offers a distribution platform for short-term rental property managers worldwide.
The partnership sees an API to support bookings, prices, and descriptions on Trip.com, Ctrip, and Skyscanner of thousands of short term rentals.
It opens up a huge market for its property manager clients, Rentals United says.
"We have been greatly anticipating our partnership with Trip.com, which will give our customers access to the highly-coveted Asian travellers that are increasingly becoming the largest traveller group globally," Rentals United CEO James Burrows.
Trip.com travel brands have about 400 million registered users worldwide.
Rentals United main market is Europe where it has its largest number of properties.
