TripAdvisor adds new subscription services for hotels, restaurants

Travel giant TripAdvisor has expanded its B2B subscription services with two new programs for hotels and restaurants.

Business Advantage is designed for accommodation providers and offers a suite of tools to increase marketing effectiveness, impact booking decisions, and better build their online reputation.

TripAdvisor’s Premium for Restaurants subscription product enables businesses to customize their online presence in several ways such as a soon to launch storyboard feature to turn images into dynamic visual presentation.

For both packages, the ‘Favourite Reviews’ feature lets businesses showcase a recent review by placing it prominently near the top of the page for better visibility.

Subscribers also get access to more advanced analytics for better insights into customer behavior and competitor monitoring.

Restaurants subscribers are also eligible for prioritized phone support.

The new features are in addition to the existing tools offered to Business Listings subscribers, including Contact Details, Special Offers, Announcements and Mobile Click-to-Call.

"For the first time, 4.2 million restaurants on TripAdvisor can have more creative control and improved customer insights to maximize the value of their listing on our sites and apps," said Bertrand Jelensperger, senior vice president, TripAdvisor Restaurant.

"We have listened to our partners and we intend to deliver a series of innovative tools."
