TUI cruise brands extend free change policy

Marella Cruises and TUI River Cruises are extending their free amends policy on all new bookings to the end of the year.

Clients who book before 31 December for any cruise departing before 31 October 2021 will be allowed one free date change.

The change must be made up to 21 days before departure.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Marella Cruises and TUI River Cruises said: "We understand some customers may feel a little uncertain about booking a cruise whilst travel advice hasn’t changed and so we wanted to offer flexibility for those wanting to secure their summer 2021 cruise with us with the added reassurance that if they no longer wish to travel they can amend for free."

The Foreign Office is continuing to advise against all ocean-going cruises, but this doesn’t include river cruises. However, several popular river cruise destinations, including France and Portugal, have been removed from the government’s safe travel lists, meaning holidaymakers will have to quarantine for 14 days when returning to the UK.
