TUI Group names new head of regulatory affairs for aviation

TUI Group has appointed David Joseph as its new head of regulatory affairs aviation.

Joseph, who joins from Virgin Atlantic, where he held a similar position, will be in charge of TUI’s six airlines and will be based at TUI Group’s Corporate Office EU in Brussels.

He replaces Eddie Redfern, who has retired after 25 years with the group.

A second new team member, Tim Van Severen, has been appointed as manager international public policy and EU affairs at TUI Group’s EU corporate office.

Van Severen joined TUI Benelux in 2007, where his main responsibilities included regulatory issues related to tourism and aviation.

Both report to TUI Corporate Office EU head Dr Ralf Pastleitner.

He is joining TUI Group from holding a role within TUI Belgium.

The Corporate Office EU in Brussels is part of the activities of TUI Group’s Corporate & External Affairs team headed by Thomas Ellerbeck, member of the group executive committee.
