TUI names new exec committee after merger
TUI has created a new executive committee following the merger between TUI AG and TUI Travel PLC.
The new group will be responsible for the day to day running of the merged business, TUI Group.
The company claims the new management structure brings the Group in line with other international companies.
It is made up of the following members: Friedrich Joussen, joint-CEO, Peter Long, joint-CEO, Johan Lundgren, deputy CEO, Horst Baier, chief financial officer, Sebastian Ebel, chief HR officer, William Waggott, CEO accommodation & destinations and specialist & activity.
Other members of its ‘top leadership team’ include David Burling, managing director TUI UK and TUI Ireland, Christian Clemens, managing director TUI Germany, Thomas Ellerbeck, group director corporate & external affairs, Erik Friemuth, group chief marketing officer, Kenton Jarvis, group director controlling, Dr Hilka Schneider, general counsel, chief compliance officer & company secretary and Jacky Simmonds, group HR director.
TUI Group, the merged company, will officially start on December 17 when its shares will trade for the first time.
