Two more execs leave Thomas Cook
Thomas Cook’s chief commercial officer Neil Morris and chief financial officer Michelle MacMahon have resigned from the tour operator as the business gets more of a shake-up.
Thomas Cook confirmed that Neil is leaving at the end of the month and Michelle at the end of December.
A Thomas Cook UK & Ireland spokeswoman said: "Michelle and Neil have been in discussions about their future plans for some time and we respect their choices and sincerely thank them for their contributions."
Thomas Cook has already announced Peter Fankhauser will take responsibility for the UK & Ireland business and will be in place from 1 November, see previous story.
This was believed to only be the first phase of a shake-up of the business under new group CEO Harriet Green.
Fankhauser has been briefed to simplify the UK’s operating structure and accelerate its ongoing turnaround plan.
Group CEO Harriet Green said at the time: "Transforming the performance of our UK & Ireland business will, in essence, transform the Thomas Cook Group’s performance overall."
