The 263-room Novotel and 325-room Mercure are located within the 1Borneo Hypermall development located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu.
Both hotels offer easy access to Tanjung Aru Beach.

It includes more than 300 boutiques, cafes and restaurants, as well as a handicraft and cultural centre, an Oceanarium with more than 500 species of marine life, the Rainforest Discovery Centre, cinemas, and a bowling complex.
