Two niche lines join PSA
Specialist cruise lines Orion Expedition Cruises and Indian Ocean Cruises have become members of the passenger Shipping Association.
The addition of the two lines brings the PSA membership up to 29 companies, representing 35 cruise brands operating in the UK market.
They join the PSA’s Specialist Collection, an alliance of cruise lines which differentiates itself by emphasising the destinations visited rather than the cruise itself, aiming to position itself alongside unique adventure and cultural land based holidays.
Orion Expedition Cruises sails from Australia year round and claims to be the country’s only luxury expedition cruise line covering Papua New Guinea, the Kimberley Coastline and the Solomon Islands.
Indian Ocean Cruises visits remote areas such as the Malabar Coast and the Lakshadweep Islands, enabling British holidaymakers to discover these virtually unknown regions of the Indian Ocean, according to the PSA.
