Two travel firms to sell new lottery tickets
Midcounties Co-operative Travel and Holiday Extras are the first travel companies to support a new charity lottery.
Both will be offering customers £2 tickets for the Travel Lottery, launched by the Travel Foundation, with the proceeds going to travel-related good causes. The lottery will launch in December.
Salli Felton, Travel Foundation action chief executive, said the organisation was in"advanced discussions"with several other key industry plays. "So far, everyone we’ve spoken to about the Travel Lottery has been incredibly supportive and we feel this initiative has the X factor that will capture the imagination of the travel industry and its customers."
For more information about becoming a Travel Lottery partner, contact Graeme Jackson, the Travel Foundation’s head of partnerships and fundraising on 0117 9273049 or [email protected] .
