UK airlines and operators hit by further Belgian strike
EasyJet, Ryanair and British Airways have been affected for the third week running by strike action in Brussels.
No planes were due to land at or take off from airports in Brussels, Charleroi, Liege, Antwerp and Ostend for 24 hours from 9pm last night.
Eurostar is also only operating to and from Lille.
The nationwide strike is in response to austerity measures that the government says are needed to balance Belgium’s budget by 2018 and tackle national debt.
