Unprecedented August for Cornish accommodation business
Cornish Traditional Cottages has reported that it has less than 1% of its portfolio left for the week starting August 14.
It said this is an “unprecedented situation the firm has never previously experienced in its 49 years of tradingâ€.
“Ordinarily we might expect 90% of our properties to be booked out during the peak summer weeks, but we have no availability left for this week and just three properties, less than 1% of our portfolio, available for the week beginning 14th August,†said property manager George Edward-Collins.
The company features over 250 self-catering properties across Cornwall.
