US Airways to serve Ireland year-round
US Airways is to operate a year-round transatlantic service between Dublin and Philadephia.
Four flights a week will run from October 28, departing Dublin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The fifth largest US carrier will continue to operate a summer seasonal service from Shannon.
Senior vice president, schedule planning and alliances Andrew Nocella said: “With the addition of year round service to Dublin, US Airways will now serve 12 European cities for the winter season.”
Earlier this year, US Airways unveiled three new international destinations for the 2007-08 travel season – Athens, Brussels and Zurich.
