US hospitality group Choice Hotels appoints Aviareps as Asia GSA
US hospitality group Choice Hotels International has appointed AVIAREPS as general sales agent in several Asia markets with immediate effect.
AVIAREPS will be responsible for Choice Hotels’ sales functions, marketing, reservations, public relations, and ticketing in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines.
The US company is keen to expand its sales outreach in these growing Asian markets among consumers and travel trade partners.
"Choice Hotels International has established a rich history of innovation marking it as a long-standing market leader in the global hospitality industry," said Michael Gaebler, CEO of AVIAREPS.
"We are proud to represent their U.S. properties in Asia, and I’m confident that our market experts on the ground throughout Asia will represent them well."
AVIAREPS also earlier this month signed an agreement to support destination marketing initiatives with the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
