Vacation rental network RedAwning has announced a proposed acquisition of VaycayHero, a vacation rental site with more than 43,000 professionally managed properties across the US.

RedAwning, which lists 100,000 unique rental properties in more than 10,000 destinations, will integrate VaycayHero’s technology and properties into its global distribution platform along with the acqui-hire of key team members.

VaycayHero.com operations will continue as normal

"We have a great deal of respect for the team and business that VaycayHero has built, particularly, their success in delivering a professionally managed rental experience. They will help us accelerate the growth of our industry-wide standard for 24/7 guest services for vacation rental properties," said RedAwning CEO Tim Choate.

"We’re also eager to provide their property managers with our leading marketing and technology expertise that have been proven to drive the highest booking rates in the industry."

For end user consumers RedAwning provides 24/7 customer support, instant online booking, and no security deposits.

It is a leading supplier of vacation rentals to major OTAs and vacation rental platforms including Booking.com, Expedia, HomeAway/VRBO, Flipkey and Airbnb.

In 2015 RedAwning purchased PerfectPlaces.com and TravelProRentals.com.
