Viator’s add-ons easier to package
The tours and attractions website, Viator has developed technology to integrate its range of add-ons into the packaging system of online agents.
Viator chief executive, Rod Cuthbert told TravelMole: “It means that agents can easily add Viator’s product range to their website, especially as part of a package booking, that includes air and hotel as well.”
The plug-in program allows agents with websites access to Viator’s inventory through an XML datafeed. The datafeed includes product descriptions, images, maps and pricing information, and allows agents to make and confirm a booking without going through Viator’s website.
