Vietnam Airlines hosts global airline safety conference
Vietnam Airlines is the host airline of the 2023 World Aviation Safety and Operations Conference.
The IATA-organised airline conference takes place in Hanoi, from 19 to 21 September 2023.
It brings together the previous Cabin Ops Safety Conference, the IATA Safety Conference, and the Emergency Response Planning and Aircraft Recovery Forums.
It attracts airline leaders and delegates from around the world, giving Vietnam Airlines the opportunity to promote Vietnam tourism, and build stronger economic ties.
“Borders are open, airports are busy and it is vital that aviation stakeholders maintain the same strong commitment to safe operations,” said Willie Walsh, IATA’s Director General.
“Safety is aviation’s highest priority and the cornerstone of all Vietnam Airlines’ operations and practice,” said Le Hong Ha, Vietnam Airlines CEO.
Sessions will address safety, cabin operations, flight operations, emergency response planning, and aircraft recovery.
Vietnam Airlines operates 96 routes to 22 domestic and 27 international destinations.
