Virgin Australia, Delta expand codeshare destinations
Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines are expanding their codeshare alliance to include three new US destinations.
Passengers of both airlines can now depart from Australia to Nashville, Kansas City and Raleigh/Durham.
Flights from Los Angeles to Nashville operate daily, and twice daily to Kansas City.
Up to 10 flights per week run on the Los Angeles to Raleigh/Durham route.
"Our international network continues to expand and we now offer Australians the ability to fly to more than 450 destinations around the world and thanks to our strong alliance with Delta Air Lines we now have over 245 codeshare and interline destinations available to our customers," said Virgin Australia’s chief commercial officer, Judith Crompton.
"These three new destinations in North America are a very exciting addition to what is a very important market for us," she added.
Virgin Australia and Delta operate flights from Sydney, Melbourne] and Brisbane to Los Angeles offering easy connections to the Delta network in the US and Central America.
