Virgin Australia extends tech agreement with Sabre
Virgin Australia has expanded its technology distribution agreement with Sabre Corp.
Under the revised multi-year agreement Virgin will implement a wider range of Sabre solutions, -including retailing and personalisation functions.
This includes the launch of a customer data hub, a customer experience manager and dynamic retailer.
The renewal expands the SabreSonic agreement which automates the reservations, inventory and departure control functions.
Virgin’s partnership with Sabre has raised its global profile with customers, alliance partners and the travel trade, says the airline’s chief information officer Lawrie Turner.
"We are now building on this partnership, and will work with Sabre to ensure we deliver a seamless, world-class customer experience across all international and domestic markets", Turner said.
The two companies will also collaborate to identify more opportunities for increased revenue and customer satisfaction.
