Virgin heads to Vancouver
Virgin Atlantic has launched a new route from Heathrow to Vancouver.
The four times-a- week service, which starts on May 24, 2012 and runs until the end of October, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdas, Saturdays and Sundays.
Edmond Rose, director of commercial and revenue planning commented: “Vancouver is such a cosmopolitan city, full of culture, shopping and restaurants but it also offers stunning beaches and a range of outdoor adventure options on its doorstep.
“The UK has the largest number of overseas visitors to British Columbia each year so it is a natural addition to our route network.”
