Virgin issues stand-alone Cuba brochure
A dedicated Cuba brochure has been released by Virgin Holidays.
The programme, with prices starting at £699 for seven nights, supports sister company Virgin Atlantic’s Gatwick-Havana flights from July 7.
Virgin Holidays expects to carry more than 140,000 customers to the Caribbean in 2005, a rise of 40,000 over this year fuelled by new routes to Havana and Nassau in the Bahamas.
The new brochure covers departures until April 2006. It offers five hotels in Havana and 11 all-inclusive hotels on Varadero Beach, an escorted coach tour, and twin centre deals including a in Cuba combined with six nights in the Bahamas. A selection of wedding and honeymoon offers are also featured. Flight upgrades to premium economy cost £295 per person one way.
Virgin Holidays managing director Amanda Wills said: “Cuba has already proved to be a popular destination with our customers and Virgin Atlantic’s new direct flight will give our customers more choice and flexibility.
“With one of the flights departing on Sundays it is also ideal for honeymooners who are looking to getaway for a romantic break the day after the wedding.”
