Visit Herts announces first ever dedicated travel trade event
Visit Herts, the destination management organisation for Hertfordshire, is holding its first hosted travel trade event in the county.
Taking place at Knebworth House on Thursday 12 October, local tourism and hospitality businesses will meet with inbound tour operators.
These businesses are responsible for bringing in thousands of international visitors to the UK every year from the US, China and the rest of Europe.
The main aim is for local businesses to connect with tour operators and share details of their new experiences and activities.
Deirdre Wells OBE, CEO of Visit Herts said: “Even though Hertfordshire is firmly on the map, there are many smaller, lesser known attractions and accommodation providers.”
“These also provide some fantastic experiences and hospitality for visitors.”
These include Henry Moore Studios and Gardens and Puddingstone Distillery.
“We look forward to introducing them to the travel trade at our event in October,” Wells added.
The event costs £70 + VAT per head for members of Visit Herts and £100 + VAT for non-members.
Knebworth House will also provide a tour either before or after the event.
Businesses in Herts can register here while tour operators wishing to attend should register here.
