Voice of F1 on track with Silversea

SYDNEY – Legendary Formula One commentator Murray Walker will join Silversea’s seven day Nice to Monte Carlo voyage in May 2009.

During the voyage Walker will share his insights into the history of Grand Prix racing with guests, and he will also offer a racing wrap-up following the event.

Known throughout the world as the unmistakeable voice of Formula One, Walker was commentator for the BBC for many years, sharing his great passion for motor racing with the public.

Departing May 21 2009 from Nice, the 298-guest Silver Wind calls at Portofino in Italy and overnights in Monte Carlo during the Grand Prix on May 24.

The voyage then calls at the French port of Porquerolles, Barcelona, St Tropez and returns to Monte Carlo on May 28.

All-inclusive cruise-only fares start from US$5,605 per person.
