Walt Disney World parks reducing opening hours
Walt Disney Co is reducing hours of operation at all Walt Disney World theme parks.
Each park will see opening hours cut by one or two hours each day starting 8 September.
Magic Kingdom will close one hour earlier at 6pm and Epcot is closing two hours earlier at 7pm.
Hollywood Studios is closing at 7pm and Animal Kingdom will open one hour later and close an hour earlier from next month.
New park opening times have been updated on the WDW website and the My Disney Experience app.
Operating hours for Disney Springs will remain the same.
Disney World’s theme parks reopened last month after a closure of nearly four months.
Attendance so far at the parks has been disappointing, Disney said last week during its latest quarterly report.
It has been hit with higher than expected cancellations especially from out-of-state visitors.
A recent consumer survey conducted by Morning Consult research company found nearly three-quarters (72%) of American adults would not feel safe going to a theme park right now.
