Walt Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon reopening
After nearly two years shuttered, Walt Disney World will reopen Typhoon Lagoon New Years Day.
The aqua park has been closed since the beginning of WDW’s shutdown in March 2020. Disney said attractions such as Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Miss Adventure Falls, Castaway Creek, Humunga Kowabunga and the surf pool will reopen.
It also plans to resume surf lessons and private bookings from January 7. Disney World’s other water park, Blizzard Beach reopened earlier this year.
