Wanted: Masters of the cruise universe
SYDNEY – The International Cruise Council Australasia is inviting top cruise consultants to its 2010 Masters Conference taking place on Viking River Cruises’ Viking Century Sun in August.
Delegates will spend five nights cruising the Yangtze as they expand their sales and marketing skills and achieve accreditation as an ICCA Master Cruise Consultant.
ICCA general manager Brett Jardine said he expected the event to be a sell-out success, with more than 200 agents registering their interest in attending prior to the release of the official conference programme.
The 2010 Masters Conference will feature guest speaker Scott Koepf for the 11th consecutive year.
To be eligible to attend, consultants must already hold their ICCA accreditation.
Consultants will gain their Masters accreditation by attending conference sessions throughout the August 1-9 event and completing a post-conference work-based case study.
Jardine said participants in this year’s event would also have time to enjoy the Viking Century Sun and explore Shanghai, with the conference fee including two nights’ accommodation at the St Regis Hotel Shanghai and a half-day sightseeing tour of the city.
Priced at $1950 per person twin share, the conference also includes main meals on most days and domestic flights within China. Return international flights to Shanghai are additional.
