Webjet rolls out B2B trade platform FIT Ruums

Friday, 14 Nov, 2016 0
Australian OTA Webjet has launched Singapore based travel trade distribution service FIT Ruums.

It will operate within Webjet’s B2B division WebBeds FZ and will deliver product to Asian travel trade partners, including hotel rooms and ground transfers.

FIT Ruums will target key markets in Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and India

Based in Singapore, it has already opened regional offices in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan.

Further office locations in Japan, Thailand, India and Indonesia are being planned for next year.

It offers more than 130,000 hotels and plans to collaborate with national tourism organizations within the region in the near future.

"As an Australian company, Webjet Limited has long enjoyed strong ties with our neighbours in the Asia Pacific region. The rising affluence of Asian countries is driving a new travelling class – a shift away from groups and towards free independent travel," said WebBeds FZ director Daryl Lee.

It aims to become ‘the strongest travel content aggregator and distributor in Asia and a one-stop shop for both suppliers and clients.’
