Westjets adds several new routes
Westjet has unveiled an ambitious summer 2014 flight schedule which includes five new services and extra flights on 20 current routes.
The WestJet Encore regional service is introducing flights from Thunder Bay to Toronto and Winnipeg.
From Fort McMurray, new routes will serve Kelowna and Vancouver and a weekly direct service to Las Vegas.
In addition, the existing Fort McMurray-Toronto service will now be served year-round.
In April, daily non-stop flights will begin from the airline’s Calgary base to Prince George, BC and New York JFK.
The airline also announced increases in frequency to Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, Phoenix and several Caribbean destinations.
From June 15, Westjet will spread its wings across the Atlantic for the first time with seasonal daily flights from St John’s, Newfoundland to the Irish capital Dublin.
Westjet and regional carrier Encore operate scheduled services to more than 85 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
