What to pack for a ski holiday

Thursday, 06 Mar, 2020 0

One of the biggest mistakes skiers make is taking too much luggage, but what should your clients be packing? We asked ski chalet holiday specialist Ski Beat to share its top tips.

"Dragging a heavy case is hard work in an airport, let alone a snowy ski resort where high altitude can make it twice as hard," says Ski Beat’s sales and marketing director Laura Hazell.

"The main things skiers should focus on are warm, protective outer and under clothes, eye and skin protection and comfortable clothes for evenings in front of the fire. Heels, formal wear, heavy make-up bags and bottles of toiletries should be left at home, while expensive rings and other jewellery can too easily slip off in the snow. On the other hand, comfy slippers, a plug bank with an international plug adapter, phone chargers and eye protection are essential ‘must packs’."

Here is Ski Beat’s top tips of what to pack, what not to pack and what not to leave behind. Please share it with your ski clients.
