Hotel Happenings
Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort –Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, will introduce a new era of coastal elegance to Southwest Florida in late 2025. Set on 1,000 feet of pristine shoreline, the resort will offer 216 rooms and suites, dining, an expansive wellness and spa sanctuary and championship golf designed by Jack Nicklaus. This is Four Seasons’ first beachfront property in the region.
The Perry Hotel Naples – Opened in January 2025, The Perry Hotel Naples brings bold design, culinary excellence and laid-back sophistication to the Cocohatchee River. The 160-room boutique property blends modern industrial style with coastal charm. It features both ground-level and rooftop pools. With direct water access and an eight-slip marina, The Perry delivers an immersive waterfront escape just minutes from the Gulf.
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples – In 2025, this legendary Gulf-front resort celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking four decades as one of Florida’s most iconic luxury destinations. Guests can expect celebrations all year long. Following a transformation in 2023, it features 474 redesigned guestrooms and suites—all with Gulf views plus eight dining concepts, including the acclaimed Sofra and Gumbo Limbo.
Culinary Experiences
Heyday Cookshop – 2025 James Beard semifinalist and Chopped champion Kayla Pfeiffer expands her Naples footprint with the late-2025 debut of Heyday Cookshop at Neapolitan Way. The new restaurant will offer an elevated take on New American cuisine in a luxe yet playful setting.
JW Marriott Marco Island – Located in a Designated Blue Zone Project community, JW Marriott Marco Island is doubling down on immersive wellness in 2025, beginning with the concept of “food as medicine.” The resort’s culinary team is leaning into the healing power of high-quality, intentional ingredients, with a special focus on aquatic plants such as sea moss, sea asparagus and more.
Bleu Provence – In January 2025, brothers Clément and Kevin Cariot officially took over the family business, Bleu Provence, known for its exceptional French cuisine and award-winning wine program. The wine cellar features over 3,000 selections and 1,500 bottles from 17 countries and 58 regions. It has proudly earned Wine Spectator’s coveted Grand Award since 2015.
The French Brasserie Rustique – Chef Benoit Valota has been appointed executive chef of this 5th Avenue South landmark restaurant, known for its refined French cuisine and timeless charm. Since joining The French in 2022, Chef Ben, a native of Cannes, France, has enriched the menu with his expertise honed at Michelin-starred restaurants across France.
Things to do this summer
The Baker Museum – Announced 25 April 2025, The Baker Museum has achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition afforded to museums in the United States. This distinction places The Baker Museum among approximately the top 3% of museums in the US.
Evening on Fifth – Every second Thursday of the month, downtown Naples comes alive during Evening on Fifth. Throughout the summer – on 12 June, 10 July, 14 August and 11 September 2025, this lively event transforms 5th Avenue South into an alfresco celebration of music, dining and shopping. Visitors can stroll and sip wine at open-air cafés and enjoy live performances ranging from jazz and classical guitar to upbeat local bands.
FC Naples – In March 2025, the destination welcomed its first professional football team, FC Naples, to the state-of-the-art Paradise Coast Sports Complex—marking a historic milestone for the region. As a USL League One expansion club, the team launched its inaugural season with a mission to deliver a world-class experience for fans of all ages.
