FAMILY WINERIES OPENS SECOND TASTING ROOM
A select group of private-label, family owned wineries in the Sonoma region
has partnered to offer tastings to the public. Following the success of a tasting
room in the Dry Creek area, Family Wineries has opened a new shop in Kenwood.
Both shops serve more than 30 wines daily, offering specialty foods from local producers and works by area artists as well. LIVERMORE VALLEY PERFORMING ARTS
The Bankhead Theater, part of the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center,
has a packed year-round schedule of local and visiting performances. Among the local and regional companies are Del Valle Fine Arts, Livermore Valley Opera, California Independent Film Festival, Livermore-Amador Symphony, Valley Dance Theater, Pleasanton Playhouse and Valley Concert Choral.
