Windstar Cruises unveils ‘Quick Getaway’ short cruises
Windstar has revealed details of new ‘Quick Getaways’ short European yacht voyages.
Launching in spring 2026, these are a collection of three- to five-night cruises
They feature a mix of iconic cities and tucked-away ports rarely visited.
The 2026 collection has nine departure dates and five itineraries, including sailing under London’s Tower Bridge, and sipping wine in Collioure.
Quick Getaway Itineraries:
A Taste of Southern France (3 nights on Wind Surf) – Kayak near Sète, wander Collioure, and ride to Carcassonne. Departs 11 June 2026 with prices from £1,122 per person.
La Dolce Vita in Italy & France (3 nights on Wind Surf) – Sailing past seaside villages, visiting Corsican markets, and sipping wine in Tuscany. Departs 31 May 2026 with prices from £974 per person.
Belgium: A Sweet Getaway (3 nights on Star Pride) – Discover Bruges’ canals, and enjoy Belgian chocolates and architecture. Departures on 12 and 19 May 2026 with prices from £1,244 per person.
St Malo Getaway (4 nights on Star Pride) – Sail through London’s Tower Bridge, then sail along France’s northern coast to Mont St. Michel and beyond. Departs 15 May 2026 with prices from £1,617 per person.
“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity and are the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel,” said Windstar Cruises director of itinerary planning Jess Peterson.
Guests who book by 31 August 2025 will receive up to $200 onboard credit per stateroom and a complimentary All-In package (select alcohol, gratuities, Wi-Fi) valued at £77 per person per day.
Windstar is planning more ‘bitesize’ short European getaways in 2027.
