World’s Most Expensive Restaurants – What Do They Serve?

El Bulli
The El Bulli at Roses, Spain is a sort of a restaurant which remains closed for at least six months in a year. This gives the chef and his team of workers a chance to invent mouthwatering dishes at their personal Barcelona “kitchen lab.” Those who know what they want can expect the best from the $270 thirty-plus course menu. It is really expensive to have your food here. However, as a consolation you have a chance to bargain with the wide array of exquisite wine available at El Bulli.

Masa
Masa in New York City is an expensive one. The reason for the restaurant for being so expensive is the daily bulk of fresh fish and shellfish that come here right from Tokyo. The other reason for Masa being so pricey is its unique Takayama’s artistry with raw fish. Be prepared to spend some extra pence if you really want to taste a delicious dish of Sushi. Here the lowest cost item is an 8-ounce carafe of Otokoyama Momenya for $24.

Aragawa
Aragawa in Tokyo Japan is a little cozy steakhouse where steaks are available at a price of $550 and reservations are quite tough over here. Most people rush here to have a taste of $400 Wagyu. This is a beef-courtesy dish of pampered, sake fed cows. The beef here is served deliciously with pepper and mustard. 

Joel Robuchon
Joel Robuchon of Las Vegas is a pride of France. At this restaurant located at the Mansion at the MGM Grand you should stay prepared to pay an amount of $360 for a scrumptious menu. The wine list however, does not cost much over here.

Alinea
Alinea of Chicago is again a grand place for you to enjoy a delicious 24-course menu at an amount of $195. The chef Grant Achatz however calls it an enjoyable and exciting culinary journey. Here you get to taste some fine wine for a minimum amount of $40. 

Tetsuya’s
Tetsuya’s in Sydney Australia is the result of Tetsuya Wakuda’s dedication. His restaurant Tetsuya’s has become the heart throb of Australia. Food here is so fine and exceptional that even Charlie Trotter couldn’t go without praising the place. A dine over here is sure to be all the more savoring and tasty. At Tetsuya’s a ten course menu is served at a cost of $195 and the specialty of the restaurant lies in the confit of Petuna Tasmanian ocean trout with kelp, daikon and fennel. You get to taste wine over here at around $45.

Restaurant Gordon Ramsay
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay of London is indeed a special one. Here you are served with a seven course menu at $224. The setting here is simply decorous with a total count of 44 seats. The specialties which you are to enjoy at Gordon Ramsay include pan-fried scallops with octopus and parmesan sauce, and roasted duck breast with rutabaga and honey. The cost of the wine starts here from $80 and the experience is no doubt enthralling. 

The French Laundry
The French Laundry at the Bay Area of San Francisco is now one of the world’s most notable restaurants. Here you get a nine-course menu for $240. Here vegetarians you will have choices too. A couple of wines in the stellar list cost around $50, but most of the wines cost more than $100 and beyond.

Toque
Toque of Montreal, Canada is an inspiration and a fruitful outcome of the toil of local farmers and producers. Here, most of the Quebecois-style dishes cost more or less around $40 and with an apposite bargain you get to enjoy a seven course seasonal menu at $92, which can only become $147 when served with wine. However, the list of wine starts from around $40.
