Worldspan wins Cox and Kings
Worldspan can now name the upmarket tour operator and agent, Cox and Kings, as one of its clients.
The independent specialist is taking a suite of products including the Worldspan Go!, an internet-based desktop product that will give it access to the Worldspan global reservation system to access suppliers such as airlines, hotels and car rental.
It is also taking Power Shopper, that will enable consultants to search by itinerary and price and to confirm bookings in seconds. A third product is SecuRate Air Plus, which is a negotiated fares database.
According to Worldspan, Cox & Kings is one of nearly 60 new agency accounts won by the GDS and technology provider in the UK this year.
Cox & Kings finance director, Khalid Malik, said: “Cox & Kings’ well-earned reputation for quality and style is based on thorough knowledge and going the extra mile for customers. After conducting a technology review, we determined that Worldspan’s vision and proven track record demonstrates how it can help drive our business forward was compelling.”
