YOTEL checking in to Atlanta
Short and extended-stay ‘microtel’ accommodation options are coming to downtown Atlanta.
YOTEL has announced plans to open a 351-key property the heart of the Underground redevelopment zone.
It’s a new build project which will offer YOTEL short stays with 234 cabins and 117 extended stay PADs.
Construction will begin next summer for an expected launch in 2022.
Amenities will include a GRAB+GO café and restaurant, an outdoor pool and terrace as well as a rooftop bar.
"We are extremely excited to be part of this project, focused on the revitalisation of Atlanta’s downtown. Atlanta is an exciting, bustling city," said Hubert Viriot, CEO of YOTEL.
The four-block Underground project is being developed by WRS, Inc and is set to house retail, restaurant, entertainment, office, and residential units.
YOTEL has a presence in New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington D.C, and has seven airport hotels across Europe, Istanbul and Singapore.
Further US properties under development will see openings in Miami, Long Island, Mammoth, and Park City.
