Zipair launching San Francisco flights

Japanese budget airline ZIPAIR will launch San Francisco flights this summer.

Flights launch from Tokyo Narita in June 2023.

It plans five flights a week on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

“We are excited to welcome ZIPAIR service at SFO this summer,” said Airport Director Ivar C. Satero.

“We thank ZIPAIR and are committed to making this new service a success.”

ZIPAOT is a fully owned low-cost brand of Japan Airlines.

It was established in 2018 and is based out of Tokyo Narita.

The airline has a network of six international routes including Singapore, Los Angeles and San José, CA.
